UNIPRES/Company History

1998	Unipres established through a merger between Yamakawa Industrial Co., Ltd. and Yamato Kogyo Co., Ltd. Agreement signed between Unipres and Kasai Kogyo Co., Ltd., and work begun on the technical development, manufacturing, and sales of interior automotive parts, etc.
2001	The Kanagawa Plant (in Yokohama) and the Kaida Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (in Kyoto) closed.
2002	UNIPRES SOUTHEAST U.S.A., INC. established in Forest, Mississippi.(PDF11KB) MUTEC CO., LTD. established as a joint company with Mitsubishi Aluminum Co., Ltd.(PDF58KB) UNIPRES EUROPE, SAS established in France.(PDF92KB)
2003	Plans announced to establish a joint company in Europe(UM Corporation).(PDF311KB) UNIPERS SOUTHEAST U.S.A., INC goes into operation. UNIPRES NORTH AMERICA, INC. established in Detroit, Michigan.(PDF16KB) UNIPRES GUANGZHOU CORPORATION established in Hua-Gang Rd,, Xin-Hha Town, Hua-Du Block, Guang-Zhou City, Guang-Dong Province, China. 2004	Stock listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (February 24).(PDF4KB) Head Office moved to Yokohama-city.(PDF10KB)
2005	UNIPRES GUANGZHOU CORPORATION goes into operation. Head Office Registration moved to Shin-Yokohama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama-city, Kanagawa. Stock listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (September 1).(PDF17KB)
2006	Tool & Die Plant goes into operation in UNIPRES GUANGZHOU CORPORATION (September).
