UNIPRES CORPORATION (hereinafter referred to as "Unipres"), in order to abide by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures, the Guidelines on the Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information, and other related laws and regulations and to ensure the security of the personal information Unipres holds, strives to protect personal information by taking organizational, human, material, and technological security measures based on the following Privacy Policy.
1. Collection of Personal Information
・Unipres collects personal information by lawful and fair means.
・Unipres will not collect any sensitive personal information without obtaining the prior consent of the person in question, except when stipulated by laws and regulations.
2. Purposes of Use of Personal Information
・Unipres uses personal information within the scope necessary for carrying out the following purposes of use.
(1) To provide information on products, business operations, etc.
(2) To respond to inquiries of all types
(3) To facilitate communication between persons in charge of business operations
(4) To conduct recruitment activities or to contact retired employees for administrative matters

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
・Unipres will not provide any personal information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the person in question, except when stipulated by laws and regulations.

・If Unipres entrusts the handling of personal data to a third party, it will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure that the information is securely managed by the entrusted party, such as by concluding a contract.

・The personal information that Unipres holds may be jointly used within Unipres and Group companies (Unipres and its consolidated companies and equity-method affiliates listed in our annual securities report, etc.) as follows.

Name, contact information (address, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.), workplace information (name of company, department, title, etc.), date of birth, age, gender, purchase and use history of products and services, content of inquiries, request details, contract details, etc.

6. Security Measures for Personal Information
・Unipres takes appropriate organizational, human, material, and technological security measures for handling personal information.
(1) Organizational security measures
Unipres has established an organizational structure to manage personal information, including the establishment of a committee, a personal information security manager for each organization, and in-house rules.
(2) Human security measures
Unipres informs and raises awareness of everyone handling personal information, including officers, employees, and temporary workers, about the importance of protecting personal information, and conducts necessary audits and supervision to ensure the effectiveness of such measures.
(3) Material security measures
Unipres takes various measures, including controlling access to buildings and floors where personal information is handled, preventing theft, and locking systems and documents when they are taken out, transported, or stored.
(4) Technological security measures
Unipres takes technological security measures, such as appropriate information security measures against unauthorized access, computer viruses, etc.
7. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information
・Unipres affirms that the person in question has a right to request the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc. of his/her personal information and will respond promptly to such requests in accordance with laws and regulations.
8. Organizational Structure
・Unipres appoints a personal information protection manager to implement the appropriate management of personal information.
・Unipres provides training on personal information protection and proper management methods to both officers and employees to ensure the appropriate handling of personal information in everyday business.
9. Formulation, Implementation, Maintenance, and Improvement of Personal Information Protection Compliance Program
・In order to implement this Privacy Policy, Unipres has formulated a personal information protection compliance program (including this Privacy Policy, the Personal Information Protection Rules, and other rules and regulations), informs officers and employees about this program, and strives to implement, maintain, and continuously improve it.
10. Revision and Abolition Procedures
・This Privacy Policy shall be revised or abolished by a resolution of Unipres's Executive Committee.
